Nominations for English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) for the 2025-26 School Year

Dear All EL Parents,

It is time to elect members to the English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) for the 2025-26 school year. It is important that the members of ELAC are representative of our EL student population and that all may communicate their ideas. To ensure an easy exchange of ideas, translators will be available at all meetings.

ELAC members will consist of the principal, EL parents and other interested RFEP parents. It is the responsibility of the ELAC to work together to assist with developing our school plan, including the EL programs and budget. The school plan establishes the criteria that will use to help support the highest possible levels of teaching and learning. The purpose of the school plan is to is to improve the academic performance of all students including EL students to the level of the performance goals. Annually, the ELAC also assist with the school's Needs Assessments, strategies to increase attendance, and providing input on other parent engagement opportunities.

For this school year, we need to fill 5 vacant positions for the ELAC group.  These positions will serve a 1 year  term
